First gamejam in the books!

This is my first game jam participation https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-198-speed and first game that I've ever created. The theme was speed and the limitation was There is no end. So I opted for a game that has an infinitely repeating level, which speeds up every time you pass the beginning.

The goal for me in this jam was to:

1. Come up with a decent loop/design that fit the jam theme and restriction quite strictly, and would also be entertaining enough to at least want to beat your own high score one or twice. If you restarted and played more than once, then that's a win in my book! I actually liked trying to get a high score, personally, and it maybe has 10 minutes of replay value.

2. Do as much of the entire process myself as possible, even though I have nearly nothing in the way of art or music creation experience, doing things from scratch would be a good learning experience.

Overall, I spent more time on it, and got a lot more done than I expected! Total time logged was just under 10 hours, and I got all of my "stretch" goals done, and even more! I didn't think I would be able to add sound effects, add a leaderboard, write original music, and create original art for the character animation and obstacle, but I pulled through. It was a lot of fun, and I'm looking forward to participating in another jam. Maybe team up with someone more keyed into the audio or visual side.

Only regret is that I didn't get emojis working in the html5 version. Maybe if I have some time to debug in the morning, but will probably need to wait until after the jam.
